For those of you who know Little Man, you can testify that he doesn’t smile easily when he’s out and about. It’s only been lately that he has smiled at cashiers in the supermarket, or at my friends! Really Little Man is quite different. As soon as he sees a face, not even a smiling face, just any old face, he breaks into a glorious, shining smile. It’s so amazing to see how different the boys are, right from the start!

I have one who’s a complete social butterfly and one who won’t let anyone near him except his parents and sister— if he smiles at you and comes to you for a hug you know you’ve broken through. My daughter the social butterfly waves and says hello to random passerbys on the street which can be very amusing when we’re waiting for the preschool bus and teenage boys of the thuggish variety walk by.
Your sons are both gorgeous, KAH. Good Shabbos!
Thanks, Heather! Your kids are also extremely yummy.
Mine’s funny about smiling. She’s usually very happy and smiley. When we go for walks, she waves and smiles at all the homeless people and creepy-looking men on the street, but when we see people I actually know, she gets quiet and shy. Go figure!
Haha – creepy-looking man. It reminds me of when LM went up to a complete stranger at the airport once. I was thinking, “hey, why is this guy more approachable than my mother?”
absolutely YUm!
thank you – we think so too!
Gorgeous picture, I love those little gummy mouths and the way their faces express such pure happiness. Really beautiful.
Thank you. Baby smiles are one of the best things in life, in my opinion! Makes any day better.
