Little Man is about 18 months old. Some of his favorite expressions include,
“Whoooooaaaaaaaaahh!”
“Noooo!”
“Uh-oh.”
and
“Oh no!”
He is a source of endless amusement.
One of my friends just had her first baby (Mazel Tov!), and remarked how it’s not possible to describe that amazing transition from non-mother to mother. So true. I kind of feel the same way about watching Little Man become a toddler. He was just a baby! What happened?
It used to be like this:
And now it’s like this:
He’s independent (love that), very active, and he gets it, really gets it when I tell him things. He looks at me and actually follows instructions (of course, not all the time, because that would be weird. Sometimes he actively ignores me, but even that is pretty amazing! He’s choosing to ignore me! Wow!).
It is just miraculous.
Oh my goodness. I know what you mean. Stephanie is 4 months now and it is so hard to imagine what is in store for us in the future. It really is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I can’t believe your little girl is already so big! It seems like you just had her! You’re really going to enjoy every stage; they are all so much fun (oh, and some hard work, of course!
Just you wait – you’re going to LOVE it!
Oh yes, every day is a gift, even when they’re naughty … ahem, er, choosing to ignore you. Wait until you have your second one and they’re completely different! You’re in amazement all over again.
Sophie is starting pre-k next week and I really cannot believe it.
It really is amazing how he can be so willful, even at this young age! I keep reminding myself that this next one is *not* going to be the same.
Best wishes for Sophie’s pre-K debut! It must be hard to believe!
