Items in a Mommy’s Purse

the big ol' mommy purse

Do you ever wonder what is in those monster bags that mommies carry around?  If so, today is your lucky day!  It was time to clean out my purse, and I thought it would be interesting to document just what finds its way in there. Here are my findings:

5 – piano books; chapsticks (five? really?); writing utensils; receipts

3 – toys for Little Man; office supplies

2 – cough drops; health thingies; money thingies; kid food thingies

1 – cell phone (uncharged); Tums; magnet; water bottle

    1. Yeah, I got a kick out of that, too! I think it was in there because my son had carried it out of the house with him, and after he lost interest in it I placed it in my purse for safekeeping. I have no idea how long it was in there!!

  1. I second the Tums! So soon the heartburn will just disappear Please G-d with the healthy and timely birth of your new babe. It’s so funny how all the weird pregnancy symptoms that you are sure you will have forever just melt away- or at least turn into new and even weirder new baby symptoms! I love your blog and have tried to write comments but for some reason I think they never get posted. I have had baby brain forever now. Keep up the good stuff!

    1. Amen! And Mazel Tov on your bebe! Enjoy the bris! It is funny how there are all these weird symptoms just morph into different weirdnesses. I wonder if that has anything to do with why kids sometimes think their mommies are a little strange….!

  2. That’s cool to see a combination of “mommy thingies” and “kiddie thingies” in your bag! I especially love that magnet – it just shows what happens when the little ones start to explore! Such fun!

tell me about it!
