Yeah, I’m channeling the original lyrics of Kermit singing “It’s not easy being green,” just adjusting it to my own needs.
I was so close to posting three weeks in a row, but, alas, I was pretty sick last week (totally overdid it the week before and suffered the consequences) and did not have the energy or time to post here.
Times have changed so much since I first started blogging. My life is different, my responsibilities are different, and even the internet and blogging world are different, though I feel I was always somewhat on the periphery there anyways.
Despite all these changes, I persist. I don’t think I could ever stop hustling for creativity.
And I know, I know, it’s ridiculous that even with writing twice a month for Hevria, rehearsing weekly with the Cleveland Women’s Orchestra and playing music once on month for the Hebrew Academy as just a baseline of creative action, I still don’t consider that creating enough.
But I know what I’m capable of and I know what I want to do and there is just not enough time in the day. There’s not. It’s okay. It’s all good.
And it’s really good this week, because in addition to my expected Hevria piece, I also WROTE A PIECE OF MUSIC which I included in my Hevria piece, so please, head over there and read it and give me feedback and I will be forever grateful.
