Marriage

Love, True Love

Sometimes when I write a piece, I know exactly what I want to say, exactly where to start, where to go and how to wrap it up.

Other times, I’ll have a vague idea and after a couple of drafts, a clear vision will form and then I’ll finish it up.

This week, I started a piece for Hevria that I thought was going to be about one thing, and it turned out to be about something completely different. And, to boot, I ended up writing about my husband, which I don’t do all that often. It became a sort of love letter to love, the kind of love that exists after years and years of marriage, when the initial infatuation is a distant memory.

You can read it here.
